This feature, introduced with iOS 18, lets you change the design and colors of the icons on the home screen. After long-pressing on the home screen, you can click Edit and experiment with different shades of color.
You can also increase the icon size and make their names visible or not. However, you cannot use both a large icon and a large name at the same time.

- On iPhone, long press the home screen, wait until apps start to vibrate.
- Tap the “Edit” button in the top left corner and then select “Customize”.
- A menu with icon style options will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the “Color” option.
- Two color shades will appear. One can be used to adjust the color and the other to adjust the hue. You can also pick a color from your wallpaper by tapping the color icon in the top right corner.
- Your icons will be updated with this color. You can play with different colors and tones to customize the look of your home screen.
